So, somehow the latest driver set causes mic not to pick up any sounds if i open programs like mozilla / games etc. And surprise surprise no matter how many programs I open my mic will pick up sound. Usually opening a game will cause the problem too (League of Legends) -If I close all the open programs (Mozilla/LoL etc.) the problem goes away and my mic will pick up sound again in windows sound settings (the green bar)īUT because I knew my mic did work before I tried to install the older driver version again UNi Xonar 1816/1822 v1.75a r2. I know my mic works because if I do reboot it works fine -The problem begins if I open Mozilla and some website with Flash/Video content.

Youtube content is stereo, so here we are talking about upmixing stereo(2.0) content to all 5.1 speakers. This might not have anything to do with the issues 1-2. You say this after you've tested where? 3) you get only 2 speakers out of 6 working with youtube I assume while running the Asus drivers. You say this after you've tested where? Have you tried reinstalling the drivers and checking again? 2) with Asus Xonar drivers (which ones?) when you change to 5.1 speakers config you get 5 out of 6 speakers working (which one?). From what I can understand you are presenting 3 cases: 1) with UNi Xonar driver when you change to 5.1 speakers config you only get 1 speaker working (which one?). To be honest from your description it does not make a lot of sense and there is the lack of essential details, like which card do you have, using analog or SPDIF output, which speaker is working and which it does not.
